Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority
Responsible for the economic development and business operations of the Kalispel Tribe, the Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority (KTEA) directs and operates the Tribe’s wide range of businesses. KTEA ensures overall economic success and diversification for the Tribe, with the goal of providing stability for essential tribal healthcare, education and social service needs.
Deeply committed to improving our communities, KTEA’s efforts have allowed the Tribe to contribute millions of dollars to our regional economy. KTEA continues to seek new business opportunities, including the start-up, expansion and relocation of businesses to the Inland Northwest. KTEA will continue to build lasting relationships with our business and community partners, focusing on hospitality, retail, warehousing, residential housing, office space and entertainment, among other interests.
Health & Well Being
Camas Center for Community Wellness
Primarily funded through revenue generated by Northern Quest Resort & Casino, the Center was built to provide quality, holistic health care and wellness programs.
Since opening in 2008, the 77,000-square-foot wellness complex has become a hub of activity with hundreds of members from neighboring communities.
Camas Center Clinic
Located inside the Camas Center for Community Wellness, our clinic embodies the Kalispel Tribe’s commitment to the health and well-being of the people of Pend Oreille County. As a premiere family health center, we provide comprehensive health care to everyone, both tribal members and non-tribal community members. We offer the highest level of confidential care in medical, chiropractic, dental, and behavioral health care.

Kalispel Casino
For the first time ever, the Kalispel Tribe of Indians has brought nearly 20 years of expertise in gaming home to its own back yard in Pend Oreille County. We have expansive sheet metal fabrication knowledge and a few state-of-the-art CNC controlled machine which allows us to be able to produce products quickly and efficiently at a fraction of the cost. We’ve put our skills to work for some of the region’s top dining, hospitality and government organizations. But that’s just the beginning. Kalispel Metal Products & Case Line
Kalispel Metal Products employs certified welders who work with welding apprentices from KCTC on welding & custom fabrication products as well as Kalispel Case Line aluminum gun cases. Products are sold to Tribal Departments as well as private entities. These services and/or products income is used to support the pre-apprenticeship programs at KCTC.
