What department do you work in and what is your job title?
I work in the Kalispel Slot Operations department, and I am a Slot Floor Supervisor at the Kalispel Casino.
How long have you been employed by the Tribe?
I’ve been employed by the Kalispel Tribe since July 2017, and I’ve been with Kalispel Casino since October 2018.
What’s the best thing about your job?
Paying jackpots, socializing with, and meeting new guests.
What’s the best thing about Kalispel Tribe?
The Kalispel Tribe and the people are very community-oriented, everyone looks out for each other one way or another. I’m happy to be a part of this community.
What does your workspace look like?
My workspace is a casino floor that has over 100 slot machines, with guests coming in looking to have a great time.
Why did you want to come work for Kalispel Tribe?
I lived in this community since 2013, my family and friends here are all a part of the Kalispel Tribe and work together for the tribe. They’ve encouraged me to work for them as well. I’ve been given great opportunities since I started, and I’m happy to work for the Tribe.
What are your hobbies?
I like to spend time with my family and friends. I like to listen to music, play video games, watch anime, MMA, and football. I’ve been starting to get more active and live a little healthier. Recently I’ve been liking and I am liking the idea of traveling. I would like to invest more time into traveling and see where it takes me.
What or who inspires you?
I’m inspired by my uncles Victor, Basil, and Nathan here in Cusick. They have taught me important things in life. They have taught me how to be diligent, humble, grateful, and many other things. Many people in this community inspire me as well, but those are the first three that come to mind when I think about it.
What are the words you live by?
Always be genuine.
How do you define success?
I would define success as being impeccable with your word, having discipline, and being committed to accomplishing your goals, stay true to yourself and everything will work out.
What is your favorite event that Kalispel Tribe puts on?
I would have to say the annual Pow Wow every August. I’m always excited for the food.

Be willing to help others.
